Tim Herman’s back ground of engineering science led him to
design equipment in the Semiconductor Industry which led to the
founding Airprotek Inc. in 1979. He then merged this company with
Innovative Engineering to form Delatech Inc. in 1990. He was President
and C.O.O of Delatech Inc., a manufacturer of Exhaust Gas Conditioning
Equipment. In 1999 his partners and he sold Delatech Inc., and he
went on to establish two foundations: The Herman Family Foundation
which supports education and Christian Values and The International
Children’s Dream Foundation (www.icdreams.org)
which is dedicated to empowering children to help themselves deal
with substance abuse and conflict resolution.
He is an active member of The Queen of the Valley Hospital Foundation,
being on the executive committee and chairing the Annual Giving
Committee as well as serving on other committees. He is an active
member of the Justin Siena High School board, again being Vice Chair,
a member of the executive committee and serving on various committees
as well as chair of building and grounds. He is also President of
St. Apollinaris Catholic School Board.
He is involved in the community by having invested in various local
firms and is a partner in the renovation of the Uptown Theater.
He is married to his wonderful wife Peggy and has three children,
Michael 18, Patrick 14 and Danielle 12.
